Regular price $80.00

This North American B-25 Mitchell airplane was one of the 62 WWII bomber aircraft. The plane was named in honor of Major General William “Billy” Mitchell who was a pioneer of U.S. military aviation.

The icons on the front of the plane are significant. They illustrate the number of bombing missions this particular plane flew, the number of locomotives it bombed, and the number of Nazi aircraft the crew shot down.

Pinup girls were an iconic inspiration to the soldiers which aimed to boost morale; ”Keep ‘em Flying.” An all-American view of soldier’s sweethearts waiting for them stateside.

A gallery wrapped canvas with a floating wooden frame takes the artwork to the next level. Depending upon your décor, you have three options; a solid black wooden frame; or a solid black wooden frame with either a silver or gold edge. Whether it’s a wedding present, birthday or holiday present, artwork makes the perfect gift for you, a loved one or friend!
